3:17 a.m. — An officer on patrol advised he was checking on a vehicle parked across East Stephenson from Edwards Grocery. The driver said he hit a sign on the Bypass and was checking the vehicle. The Department of Transportation was notified about the sign.

9:10 a.m. — NARMC requested help with a combative elderly female patient at an address on South Sycamore. Assist complete.

9:17 a.m. — A man called asking how he could retrieve property from a pawn shop in Harrison that he had reported stolen in Missouri. An officer explained the proper steps to take.

9:55 a.m. — A landlord called to report two tenants moved out of a house and left two large dogs behind. An officer explained her options.

10:37 a.m. — A two-vehicle, non-injury wreck was reported at the north interchange. An officer at the scene arrested an 18-year-old female subject for DWI with accident, careless driving with accident and minor in possession of alcohol with bond set at $1,700. She was later taken to the Boone County Jail for incarceration. A 17-year-old boy was cited into juvenile court for minor in possession of alcohol and released to a parent.

11:03 a.m. — A caller reported a disturbance at an address on North Maple. Officers arrested a 30-year-old man on a warrant for three counts of possession of a controlled substance with no bond amount shown. He was taken to the Boone County Jail for incarceration.

11:29 a.m. — A two-vehicle, non-injury wreck was reported at Capps Road and North Spruce.

12:03 p.m. — A woman called to report her daughter and son-in-law had been missing since the daughter was released from the hospital a couple of days earlier. Officers and other law enforcement agencies were notified to watch for the subjects.

12:26 p.m. — A two-vehicle, non-injury wreck was reported in front of the Dollar General on Highway 65 North.

12:43 p.m. — A caller reported fuel stolen from a vehicle parked on North Robinson. A formal complaint was filed.

1:42 p.m. — A woman called to report a pistol stolen from a vehicle parked on North Maple about four days earlier. A formal complaint was filed.

2:42 p.m. — A 17-year-old boy went to the HPD to turn himself in on a warrant for failure to appear in court on running a stop sign and no seat belt with bond set at $615. He was later released on a signature bond.

2:58 p.m. — A female subject called to report someone trying to get into her residence on East Womack. An officer said there was no sign of forced entry and no one suspicious in the area.

3:08 p.m. — A male subject called to report someone burglarized his residence on North Spring Street. A formal complaint was filed.

4:04 p.m. — A Walmart employee reported a female shoplifter fled the store on foot. A formal complaint was filed.

4:35 p.m. — A woman went to the HPD to report her debit card stolen. A formal complaint was filed.

4:52 p.m. — Officers advised they’d be out with a bail bondsman looking for a female subject at Heritage Heights Apartments. The subject wasn’t present at the time.

6:06 p.m. — A reckless driver was reported southbound on the Bypass from the north interchange. Officers were notified.

6:12 p.m. — Marion County authorities requested officers watch for a vehicle reportedly taken without authorization. Officers were notified.

6:25 p.m. — A reckless driver on a motorcycle was reported southbound on Cottonwood Road. Officers were notified.

7:25 p.m. — A two-vehicle, non-injury wreck was reported at Capps Road and Goblin Drive. An officer on scene arrested a 39-year-old man for inadequate insurance with accident and failure to carry driver’s license. He was later released after posting $1,195 bond through a professional bondsman.

7:39 p.m. — A woman called to report her purse stolen. A formal complaint was filed.

8:39 p.m. — A caller reported hearing a child screaming for someone to help her mother at an address on West Sherman, but an officer said it was children playing outside.
